05 — House Rules
Clear, fair & made for a happy home
Everything you'll want to know before moving in — clear and upfront. A few simple norms keep Avadhut PG safe, calm and comfortable for every girl.
In-Time & Night-Outs
- Daily entry: please be in between 10:00–10:30 PM. The main gate locks at 10:45 PM sharp for everyone's safety.
- Running late? Entry between 11:30 PM and 6:30 AM isn't possible (₹50 late fee) — do plan ahead or arrange to stay elsewhere.
- Night-outs: a quick text or call in advance is all we ask, for up to 4–5 days at a stretch.
- Away longer? Let us know before a 10+ day absence so your room stays reserved.
Rent & Payment
- Rent: due on or before the 5th each month (₹50/day late fee after).
- Electricity: billed separately and split equally among that month's residents — fair and transparent.
- Moving out: just give one month's notice; leaving after notice without vacating adds a ₹1,000 fine.
- Commitment: a minimum 6-month stay keeps rooms stable for everyone; earlier exits are billed for the balance.
Electricity
- Shared & fair: the bill is split equally among that month's residents (e.g. ₹3,200 ÷ 5 girls = ₹640 each).
- Small habits help: switch off lights, fans and geysers when not in use; one light may stay on overnight.
- Your call: inductions and high-power appliances are welcome — just remember the bill is shared.
Food & Kitchen
- Home-cooked tiffin (optional): a fresh dinner of poli, bhaji & salad at ₹160 per meal, paid separately — subscribe only if you'd like it.
- Light cooking welcome: basic induction cooking is fine with care; please keep the kitchen clean after you cook.
- Deliveries: collect orders at the gate (couriers don't come inside) and only order when you're around to receive.
- Shared kitchen includes a microwave for everyone.
Cleanliness
- Daily help: our maid cleans common areas every day and the bathroom weekly.
- Your space, your care: keep your room, sink and belongings tidy; empty your room dustbin and leave it bagged outside the door.
- Drains: please avoid hair clogs — unclogging costs (around ₹2,000) are borne by those responsible.
- Little things: keep shoes on the rack so shared spaces stay neat.
Behaviour & Conduct
- Calm surroundings: please avoid gathering or waiting at the gate or within the society premises.
- Residents only: for everyone's safety, visitors are not allowed inside the PG.
- Keep valuables safe: lock them in your cupboard; the PG isn't liable for loss, and lost keys are replaced at cost.
Documents & Joining
- ID: a copy of your Aadhaar or PAN card, with the signed agreement.
- Emergency contact: a parent's or guardian's phone number at the time of joining.
Pet Friendly
- Meet Aura: our gentle resident dog spends her evenings (9:00–10:15 PM) in the parking area. If you love a friendly furry face, you'll feel right at home.
